Hi, I’m Nissrine,
Like most women, I wear many hats. Besides being a Holistic Nutritionist and self care advocate for all, I’m also a recipe developer, a plant centric whole food lover, a wife, and a mother (in no particular order), but above all I'm a woman on a life long journey to achieving my own personal ohm. In my spare time, I spend time with my family and binge watch Grey’s Anatomy, but don’t we all do that?
As a Holistic Nutritionist my goal is to empower you to eat well and live a more balanced and happy life by educating you about the benefits of natural nutrition and the powerful mind body spirit connection in ways that are relevant to you. I’ll give you the tools you need to make healthy choices and I’ll show you how to make lasting changes to your dietary habits, lifestyle and self-care routine at your own pace and on your own terms. It’s not a quick fix, it takes time, effort, determination and a real change in mindset and everyday habits, but the results are undeniably worth it.

What is holistic nutrition?
Holistic Nutrition is the practice of supporting well being at the wholistic level (360 degrees); recognizing the mind, body, spirit connection and the importance of addressing these interactive factors which are unique to each individual. It recognizes that we are more than the sum of our parts.
What is natural nutrition?
Natural nutrition is the practice of eating a whole food diet, limiting processed and refined foods, in favour of eating foods as close to their natural state as possible.
What is your approach?
I do not promote fad diets, count calories, ask you to weigh portions or give you rigid meal plans to follow. My focus is on educating and empowering you to nourish your body right, live your best life and pamper yourself silly so you can feel amazing.
As we work together, you’ll learn:
to nourish your body right based on the principles of natural nutrition;
to eat mindfully and intuitively by tuning in to your body’s unique needs;
to stock your pantry and refrigerator with wholesome nutritious foods that will take the guess work out of meal preparation;

Where did you get your training?
I got my training as a Holistic Nutritionist through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where I studied the science of nutrition and learned about the powerful mind body spirit connection.
Through my course work, assignments and practical case work, I learned to help individuals achieve their personal health goals and regain balance, through dietary and lifestyle adjustments, more specifically, by correcting nutritional imbalances, utilizing stress management techniques and implementing self-care principles.

Where did you learn to cook?
Cooking and eating nutritious, delicious food is my passion. I am a self taught home chef and spent years developing recipes that I shared in a food blog and on my Instagram account. I love creating new recipes and using new preparation techniques, but I also love revisiting the classics to make them more nutrient dense without sacrificing their deliciousness. I am inspired by local, seasonal ingredients, my Lebanese heritage, my Canadian upbringing and my love of Italian food and I can show you how to prepare healthy whole food meals and snacks that you and your family will enjoy.
